Marie Parramon Gurney, is french. She has a LLB in Judicial Law – France; LLB in Business Law – Scotland; and a Master and PhD/LLD in Environmental Law – South Africa. She also has degrees in organisational sustainability, project management and in public relations. She is a qualified results coach with the NeuroLeadership Institute, a systemic dialogue Faccilitator with the No Name Initiative and a Mentor for the Purpose Alliance. She has 20 years work experience in sustainable development. She has spent the last 18 years working in Africa (where she lives) and she is recognised internationally as an expert in environmental law, green and inclusive growth, sustainability, landscape approach, and the mainstreaming of biodiversity into business and economic development. Marie is also an extraordinary lecturer for various universities and businesses school. She has worked extensively in implementing inclusive and green growth on the ground. She has worked with businesses, governments, NGOs, and international organisations. She is a visionary, planner and achiever. She has a passion to rally people around a vision, working together to achieve it. She has a natural ability and inclusive way to connect people, taking them on a shared journey, inspiring and motivating them to work together to reach a common goal. She is motivated by innovation and setting new benchmarks of practice, to show the world that it can be done if you are really committed to it. She is passionate about shifting culture, trends and practices to support a more conscious, inclusive and sustainable world. She strives to be a brave leader and to always deliver positive systemic and transformative impacts. Her energy, passion, drive and authenticity are some of her assets to drive our work.

Patrick’s past thirty years of experience has focused on encountering and overcoming interesting business challenges by using his own unique blend of leadership, brand management, marketing skills, and Entrepreneurial Spirit – harnessing the real power of organisations, its People.
A ‘People-Person’ at heart, Patrick’s experience has encompassed the following sectors, Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, Advertising, Property and Software. Over the course of Patrick’s career he has launched new Companies, Brands and products.
Patrick connects with people like no one else. His ability to listen and meaningfully engage with people, enable him to get them to share their dreams, views and opinions, to make them want to engage and be part of the solutions.
He can see potential anywhere and he loves to apply his mind to develop innovative bespoke solutions and approaches, relevant in an African context and local priorities.
He is also a doer and solution driven, making things happen with attention to detail. He has an artist’s eye and he is a great communicator.
