HAPPY DAY !

Sighs of relief, almost audible in Johannesburg. Finally, the boat (MSC Giselle) carrying our beloved Toyota Hilux docked at the port in Antwerp, Brussels yesterday.

So the next part in our preparation begins. We will travel to Antwerp from France probably on the 24thd April to collect the Hilux from the shipping agent. Hopefully by this stage all has been custom cleared and ready for a maiden voyage through the European countryside to Paris as our prep stop before we depart. Why Paris? Well my son is studying IT Engineering in Paris and he has a birthday on the 26th April – great present for the family to be together and even more special that the Hilux is there to celebrate. Then we are off down through France to Valence. This is where we will depart from on the 27th May.
